This must make me a grown up

Of the gifts I’ve received so far (still have Dad’s Christmas), the two I’m most excited about is the (Mario Batalli-approved) Dutch Oven (which I’ve coveted for a long time–the Dutch Oven part) and a lamp for my house.

I brought some of my stuff in from the car and was very excited to re-realize how HEAVY the Dutch Oven is. I pick up the lamp tomorrow.

Also got a really cool calendar mom made.

Now I’m about to make mashed potatoes and finish my wine and watch TV and sit and be quiet and relax and maybe even take a bubble bath and. Just. Be.
